Data We Do NOT Collect

FinCalc is a static, client-side website. We do not have a backend server and we do not collect or store:

• Your name, email, or any personal identification
• Your financial data entered into calculators
• Your expense or loan tracking data (stored locally in your browser)
• Your Google account information (unless you explicitly connect Drive)

Local Storage

Our Expense Tracker and Loan Tracker tools store data in your browser's localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is not accessible to us
• Can be cleared by clearing your browser data

Google Drive Integration

If you choose to use the "Save to Drive" feature:

• You authenticate directly with Google via OAuth 2.0
• We request only the drive.file scope — access to files created by this app only
• Your access token is stored in sessionStorage (cleared when you close the browser tab)
• Files are uploaded to your Google Drive account, not our servers

Google AdSense

We display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show personalised ads based on your browsing behaviour. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand aggregate page views. This does not collect personally identifiable information.

Third-Party Links

Our educational articles may link to external websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
